The vision of the Systems and Software Quality Institute (SSQI) is to strive for ongoing excellence in systems and software engineering and continue the foundation work of the late Prof R. Geoff Dromey.

Our objectives are to encourage research in systems and software engineering by facilitating industry applied academic research, to advance and improve the domestic systems and software engineering capability and establish international collaborations.

To achieve these objectives, the SSQI will contribute profits to the recently established Professor R. Geoff Dromey Foundation and Scholarship Fund. The SSQI raises funds from hosting the 3rd Improving Systems and Software Engineering Conference (ISSEC), training events and providing consultancy and training services.  

SSQI is also the proud host of the 4^th Improving Systems and Software Engineering Conference (ISSEC) being held 15 – 16 August 2012 at the Sebel and Citigate Albert Park, Melbourne.
